About

Scott Cashon

Scott is an entrepreneurial leader with a 20-year record of guiding IT product development and operations. He has been an innovator throughout his career, creating publishing tools for one of the first patient education sites on the web which received more than a million monthly visits while pre-dating Yahoo; implementing an early tumor registry database adopted by more than 100 medical centers world-wide; developing one of the first touchscreen and mobile-based applications focused on patient reported outcomes; and now continuing with the PainScript platform.

He has led the development of mission-critical systems for small and medium businesses, as well as greenfield analytics and decision support platforms for multi-national corporations representing billions of dollars in annual spend. His healthcare experience likewise spans early phase startups to Ivy League academic medical centers.

Scott is happiest when he's using both sides of his brain. His focus on user experience and information architecture matches his drive to incorporate the best practices of the latest cloud and big data technologies. He builds systems that are secure, maintainable and scalable, while still being a pleasure to use.
