Jeffrey Gudin, MD

Dr. Jeff Gudin completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Yale University School of Medicine and his fellowship at the Yale Center for Pain Management. He is currently a Professor of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Medicine and Pain Management at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Dr. Gudin is Board Certified in Pain Management, Anesthesiology, Addiction Medicine and Hospice and Palliative Care. He remains active in teaching and research and has lectured and consulted internationally on a topics related pain management and addiction medicine. He is principal investigator on an NIH NCATS grant studying a novel, non addictive pain therapy. Dr Gudin is Co-Editor in Chief for the journal Practical Pain Management and has dedicated his career to promoting education in pain and addiction medicine with a focus on opioid related safety. He attends and has presented at PAINWeek, the American Pain Society, American Academy of Pain Management, American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as many other international venues.
